Question?
Are there any specific files that a DEX multiMAN has that a CEX multiMAN doesn't have? I recall once I goofed and installed a DEX version and perhaps some files are there that are not suppose to? And perhaps causing a glitch?
Under USRDIR in multiMAN. Is there a RELOAD.SELF file that is suppose to be there on the CEX version??

@jay-Jay this was not a BASE.
only StealthMAN was BASE cex and dex for normal multiMAN where Updates.
EDIT issues identified by joshuab @ ps3crunch:
I compared the CEX update from the sendspace link and the one I got on my PS3 when I updated and the md5's are different.
Here is the online update if anyone needs it till Dean fixes the zip file
mM 04.18.00 CEX UPDATE

DEANK:
Please make a FULL version of 4.18.00
I lost all the game covers because of this erroneous update and can't get them back even when reinstalling 4.17.00 base.
Anyone can help me in the meantime?

If possible just hook it up to the internet and multiMAN can download the covers you need. just be sure the options is selected to do so in settings.

If you first deleted multiMAN, then yes all your game covers got wiped out and you will need a full version in order to get them back or connect online and have them be downloaded automatically through multiman. The base version never provides game covers--neither do the small updates.
This is why it's best never to delete multiman, just install over it. Now if you didn't delete multiman, then the covers must still be there--check multiMAN's cover folder to verify. Just be sure you have installed the proper version for your unit/CFW.
@STLcardsWS I see, there was a goof in the zip file. I will try this version you just linked.
Seems that the file "DATA0" file inside the sys folder was the only difference (well in size). Hmm?
I just installed the version you linked above and it works fine. Whew! What the hell happened a while ago?!
