GREAT NEWS/INformation... I was afraid there for a moment ther that Sony had several more tricks up its sleeve!! I hope we get PSN access with these projected CFW.

It's possible. But currently everyone on 3.56+ can't install new CFW until they find a way to make OFW 3.56+ let you install a CFW update.

The new firmwares are different than the old ones, so we need to give developers time to figure them out and patch all the security checks. This will take some time, just be patient and don't update your PS3.

Figures... The first one who'll make 300X models breakdown will be eternaly sued by $ony till death. And that's why no one's up to it. I mean, though this models contains metldr2 and updated bootldr, still lv0 keys should fit it greatly, otherwise they should get different FW updates with new key encapsulation, like PSP 1000 - 2000\3000 - Go - Street, and not only because of hardware difference. And dev's knows this fact, but facing all the $ony lawyers is not a great perspective.

This is absolutely amazing. I really hope someone produces a new (perfect) CFW for 3.55+ soon. I'm literally jumping for joy knowing I can play every ps3 game to come (since we all know that my disk drive is broken and I only use "backups") Lol.

If I had the intelligence to do this, I would release a new CFW.

I highly doubt Sony could track a dev down if you use a library computer using a web proxy to make a new account and upload from a thumb drive.
