usercheats kicks me back to xmb without a error. maybe my dlc needs to re signed? fat princess gives error(think was signed for 3.55)after using reactPSN holding O down.

reactpsn doesnt work on CFW 4.21 that's for sure. It needs to be redone. If you notice, if you try to activate PSN content through rap file, when you view the ownership of the game, it still left blank.

same goes to dynamic themes, it wont load. Altough it supposed to work since it works on 3.55 reactpsn

After testing CFW 4.21 on my CECH2001B its safe to say its looking really good for the scene. Backups I've tested so far is Resident Evil Raccoon City without any modded files, and with MM 04.07.01. I will try RE6 on MM 4.08 later on after work today. Cant say I waited patiently for this one.

Ok, now I'm lost. I'm on True Blue. Before that I was on Kmeaw. I've never done anything with cex or dex. I'm not even sure what that is. My stuff has worked for me, so I didn't bother to change anything like that. My system was a pre 3.55 system. If I remember right, it shipped with the firmware right before that. So does this mean I don't really have to worry about any cex or dex, if I'm to go forward with putting on Rogero 4.21?

Do you own a slim model probably? I have a CECH 2012A Slim model! So my I bought my console from the customs and it came with 3.42 base>>Installed Kmeaw>>Bought True Blue>>Installed 3.55 OFW>>Installed rebug 3.55.2+07 updates>>Installed 3.55 OFW trough Recovery Menu>>Finally Installed Rogero 4.21 during a hell of a storm! BUT BE AWARE! There is a BRICK CHANCE! If it is a PHAT model you have 1% of chance of brick! If you have a SLim model CECH 25XX It is very risky! If your console was downgraded Risky either! It is a coin to be flipped and a gamble procedure! You can be happy or you can be sad! Take all the safest measures while upgrading but keep in mind!! There is a chance of bricking!

I'll need to do a DEX->CEX and then go to 4.21 CFW.

I guess why people (and even myself) might be little afraid of jumping into the 4.21 CFW as yet because there had been many bricks in the recent past (only because of that 'jump' factor). Well, things have smoothened/are smoothing, so this looks promising and the scars of the recent past will soon fade away.

Sooner or later, good outweighs bad and on that path our devs lead.

I just came to this site after 2 weeks and saw a lot of activity (still skimming the site) and I might get confident enough for DEX -> CEX-> 4.21CFW.

Thanks. I just looked and it's a slim CECH 2501B. So it sounds like this model is very risky as of now.

anyone can confirm PS3usercheat working for them this is one of the homebrew thats making me stay at 3.55.

also anyone with fat CECHC04 model updated to 4.21. will like to know to know if its working perfectly for them.

In my experience PS3UserCheat is not working. It just returns to XMB.
