afaik the sysconf menu is stored inside sysconf_plugin.sprx, not sure tho
Edit: It seems like the xml files tells the XMB what shortcuts to show, and what part of the system files to access, and what command you want to run, to execute the program.
yeah, thats because the hack involves editing the memory so that instead of category_game.xml being loaded, category_game_tool2.xml is. i guess the _tool2 file doesn't have the PS/PS2 memory utility, it can probably be copied in though
yeah, it should be there, since it's also for PS1. i have non ps2-bc model and i have that menu. it still has PS2 in the name ;)
that also means that we could enable the install package files menu permanently. but unfortunately it's the payload that enables us to run unsigned packages :/
atm i don't have any new shortcuts, because i am still waiting for my usb dongle to arrive.
it has already been 3 weeks of waiting, i hope it'll be worth it.
And come on you can easily create your board with PIC, what's holding you?
Nice :) I added a launch disk thing to the tv part of the xmb to see if it would work, it did :D
Also got rid of the psn store icon from the game menu.
I see a bright future for the ps3 homebrew scene :p
