Nobody was asking for a new emulator. We were just saying it would be cool to have one.
I huuu think guichi is a bit nervous lately... any guess why anyone ?![]()
hmm this is very great news, ive been trying to tweak a version of boycott adv. for the ps2 but yeah as mentioned above i dont think we can emulate any more systems because the ps2 just simply doesn't have the power for it.
How did you manage that when boycott isnt even open source?Originally Posted by Xplic1T
I agree totally with you. These people who are complaining that the Gameboy emu is not a GBA Emulator really need to get it their heads that they should be happy for the emulators which we have gotten. Any & all emu's are welcome because the more the merrier.Originally Posted by <G>
Yeah, I know, we can't please everyone.
I have tried out the Game Boy and PC Engine/Turbografx-16 emulators for PS2 and I think they are both great!
Playing all of those great PCE/Turbo games on my PS2 made my day. Great work by the author of the emu's.
I forgot to mention that I tried the Gameboy emu several days ago & I loaded several homebrew GB roms which I got from PDROMS & it worked perfectly.
I haven't yet tried out the HDD version of the Gameboy emu but I will try to real soon.
I suppose both my and other peoples' WIP stuff that hasn't been released yet should just be dropped eh? I've seen a lot of stuff running on PS2 that it "doesn't have the power for" according to so many people like you.Originally Posted by Xplic1T
But okay, I'll give you a break and assume you are one of the people who don't understand where the PS2's power is at and the amount of work it takes to port something and optimize it to use more than a slim amount of the PS2's abilities.
And if nothing else, I'll just assume you don't realize just how many systems there are out there
I'm not trying to be rude or anything. Oh well, I'm off to work on my non-emulation projects... they are a lot more entertaining.
Bring those Megadrive and SNES emus to PSP!
Man, playing mariokart snes on PSP would be so neat.
The PSP has the exact amount of buttons needed for Snes emulation. It wouldn't have L2 & R2 buttons for PSone emu though... ohh snap i gotta stop dreaming
Later,
Alcahest
