Well this is fail. I downgraded 4 CECHE PS3. and they all have BluRay Playback!

Can you post your downgrade log? How sure are you that the dev_flashX is correct with newer disks?

To the guys posting they have bluray playback AFTER downgrading a 256mb NAND phat, please state whether you restored a backup or not.

About my previous post.

I didn't have any luck there, at least with what I know how to do.

Some things to note. Jailbreak still works when 3.41 is in Service Mode. Also Works with no hard disk installed. Obviously can't install .pkgs to see whats what..... without hard drive...

I reformatted my hard drive. I looked in /dev_hdd0/vsh/bdplayer/ and there is a bdp_resume_info_200.reg file. I deleted it. I rebooted and tried to play another bluray. Didn't work. Went back into Multiman. File is there again.

Has anyone decrypted this file? Do we know what is in there?

Sorry can't help you with that, I trashed them every time to preform a new downgrade.

Had enough of reading massive threads filled with 98% useless posts so thanks for this summary thread

I will run this on my CECHL which is on 3.15 and has not upgraded or downgraded. Hopefully the info proves useful to the project

Well that absolutely sucks... Maybe you can just TELL US then what it was you did, which model numbers the systems were, and what you were using to downgrade. (The entire point of this thread is to isolate the problem... not just say "Fail".)

No that won't help at all. I just did exactly that and lost bluray playback.

Backing up your hard drive doesn't backup your flash.

Just wondering, do they only want files from the FAT console or is the SLIM console also of use?

Do the console need to have been downgraded or can it just be an "ordinary" SLIM / FAT that is jailbroken?

Hmm strange that i still can play casino royale, wich is the only blu ray movie i have lol.
