[Updated] New REBUG Update + 3.65 Spoofer 2.0 - Now Available

i installed it and it works just download the 2nd update not the spoof only the 2nd has the spoof inside but what is the spoof for if i cant play 3.60 games and no online :S

I think the spoof is only for having your ps3 think your on the 3.60+ and says your on the highest firmware or something like that, so you or someone else don't accidentally update; Not positive though. :P

I have some comments regarding this "scene" everyone likes to throw around.

Chances are good that if you are speakig openly about the Scene you are a total moron who uses bittorrent to leech, have never been on or heard of a topsite and have never heard of cracktros and the demo scenes. The scene is a secret society of groups that are competing to provide software/information for free in order to form a vast network of irc chatrooms and ethernet cabling.*It is about competition, sexuroty, privacy and most of all, fun.

First off we need to define the scene. There are patches, games, etc. There is a game scene and a PKG/DOX scene and a homebrew scene. All 3 are different, seperate an should never be used interchably. Thosr who keep asking about the newest firmware jailbroken and rooted want the 3 above scenes all at once all the time. It is very anoying and disrespectful, especially since you dont contribute anything but bandwidth fees on forums.*

The very fact that CFW exists at all points to *the creation of a ps3 scene. Alive and dead... That is up to you ADD 12 year olds. Fucj, there is still a ps2 scene.... Not as active as PC but its NOT dead. The whole point is to join together as a group of people who all want a ps3 scene in whatever form. Going off over and over about playing online or some portal 2 ********, only makes you unworthy to partake in what the Scene truly is: generousity, fun and friendship.*

i'd imagine that the chances are also good that if you are openly talking about a secret society you are also a moron. (i'll let the community decide if that makes you a greater moron or a lesser moron) its also fair to assume that if you are said member of such a society its not full of fun or friendship just elitists and cynicism. i mean if you decided to go through all the trouble of signing up to a site just to post a rant about how anybody who talks about any particular scene is a moron what does that make you? certainly not fun, and really you're not doing us any favors so generous is not really the word i would use.

there is no real need to separate the "scene" into sub genres you are really just doing it so you can feel more elite. this is the PS3 hacking scene. it all falls under that title. i made a post earlier defending the "scene" and im with you on the fact that the only people who think its dead are really just in it for the wrong reasons, but there are a greater number of people here that do understand the scene, and i feel are much more intelligent not to mention more mature than somebody that uses techno babble to hide the fact that they are no better or worse than the people they are ranting about, and to place themselves on a false pedestal. you are not doing anything more than wasting the same bandwidth as the people you feel are just leechers. if you want to walk the walk then i suggest you start putting stuff out there because we really dont need another person out their saying how much better they are then the rest of us and keeping all the valuable information to themselves. you most certainly are just wasting your time with comments about the scene because its obviously not going to change because you spoke on the issue (sorry you're just not that charismatic)

First of all ,, can you tell me what you really want? you give a **** on any comment and any user.
Archdemon wants to show what community means. Besides everyone complain about a new fw ,, and its a laugh to think a scene is so "big" .

There a only a handfull people which can break a code or calculate a mathmathic problem.
hope you understand why its so hard to break ,, eger for me.

the problem is encasement of the Keys ,, (a+b=c) > c(x+b) > c(y+p) > c(a+x) > c(b+p)

what i mean is you need to break 5 Levels ,, from the ( known Key) < Level One to Level 5.

I dont think the Scene is dead i think its nearly impossible (I SAID NEARLY ) to hack a new firmware.
As long as Sony's PS3 uses a full firmware/software update its a cat and dog game because its to fast how sony reacts and make update after update.

compare to Xbox its funny ,, we have a new disk format online driveflash Dashboard update , which should prevent Piracy.
1GB more data on DVD *rofl ,, physicly a DVD DL +R has still 1 gb free so whats the matter , nothing it goes on with ripp & burn.

NOW I ONLY WANT TO MAKE SOME SUGGESTIONS

Because PS3 is fully different ,, there's no driveflash ,, you have to fully update your system.

The scene should focus on two different thing:

1. never change a running system :
means stay on CW3.55 ,, they must find a way to downgrade updated ps3 to 3.55 per hardware based vendor trick ( like soldering ) for using usb or anything else ( i know its sounds like simple said theorie ).

but if the keys cant be broken , then its time to start from a different view and point

2. The Spoofing method you're using is one good point to start,, its the same as we use on our Xbox Drives
pointless to say that the access to PSN shouldnt be in first place for this.
Because a Spoof is easier to realise than any Custom Firmware.

I dont wanna sound like i know everything, i only want to bring some light in the complexity of the Ps3
