I doubt that will ever happen m8. As it would probably screw the PS3 in the process.

@OP Nice one as soon as my device comes in I'll test it out!

As the website states you need to accept the security certificate first

Even so I agree with krunchy that the download should be made available through a normal HTLM link, rather than some suspect auto-launching Java applet. I see no legitimate purpose in using any such at all, ever...

For me that is reason enough not to bother with this download.

    Best regards: dlanor

I presume the java aplet is there because it will download direct to your ps3 rather than to pc to usb to ps3.

A port of this to the PS3 would make it like Cydia for the iPhone.

    Hopefully it'll come soon :P

Ahh, thanks everyone.. I have java disabled normally (flash too) and never saw any window or even get a placeholder coffee cup icon... I assumed incorrectly that this was a downloadable, standalone app. It is not. Think homebrew browser for Wii, but with your comptuer acting as a proxy.

As far as not bothering because its using a self-signed cert, if this were a straight http link to a downloadable exe, how is that more secure? Don't get put off by a scary computer message with a big red < ! > in it... Some would argue that self-signed certificates are actually more secure, but I won't get into that.. Just make sure the url in the address bar and the url listed on the certificate match and you'll be ok for the most part.

So anyhow, its a neat app, give it a try.
