you need a save dump or emulator dump to get the joker

Did. Been doing pcsx2 to emu then doing memory dumps but those dumps don't seem to work. If ur the owner of the azeroth page talking about dumping with emus i used ur method too, so I'm doing something wrong either the dump its self or the search method. Other similar games have not been an issue.

alright first value came up with the bltz example i saw else where, 8 down is the addresss 00776b94 8080ffff lb zero, $ffff(ao)
I've tried this code. its from my 32 mb block dump. Its not shown up in any of my live memory dumps. 00776b94
so d0776b94 0000xxxx should i try converting it to e0? I know the +2 isn't used cuz its libpad2

for libpad2 dumps the joker will end with C most of the time i dont have the dump to find it, you don't +2 to the address with pad2 thats pad only, look at this address
0071e3b0 there should be a pointer that is the joker address it looks like you got the starting address wrong
