GTA: San Andreas, GS v3 to GS v 1

Hello.

Downloaded the converted, followed the instructions.

I am trying to convert this GS v3 code, 283386FF 0CA57A65 to a GS v 1 code. I came up with, 1CC0C6C5 58FB46F8, but the code does not work. I have Gameshark v1.9 . This should work right? What am I missing?

More info: The code is for Infinite Mission Time. Also, the problem im running into is that when I start the game, it's locking up about 9/10 of the way through loading.
