I've got a retail version of hdloader. It works maybe %10 of the time. I always see a glimpse of the games I have installed as I restart the ps2, but it just hangs at the flash screen. With the assumption that this is because of the network card, which is the newer ones that are compatible with hd loader (model number or distinguishing diffrence).

As far as I know, there's only one network adapter, and it's the one that works.

Z-Saber
nope- little correction:
there are different n/a versions, but they all work (except for one that can't be found anymore anyways [was it a japanese one?]), so SLEEPR TSI don't worry.

Wasn't aware of the different versions, but they all work anyway.

Well, maybe I have a diffrent problem. It just hangs on the splash screen. Every once in a while it will work when I pop a diffrent disk in. But when I turn it off, the last split second I see the "normal" screen with the games I've loaded on it and the size of the disk I've got in. What am I doing wrong?

There is a modified Japanese version of HD Loader that worked with the old Japanese network adapter interface (PCMIA) which I think is only found on the V0 consoles.
