The Nfo says "This PPF patch by DVDRick fixes/un-locks the game for Non-$ony HDD's so those without a $ony HDD can enjoy it too!"

What does this thing do? I'd make an ISO and then use this PPF patch on it? Then the game would take advantage of my Seagate 200Gb Hard Drive, even though it's not the official SONY? Does this patch make the game install it's parts onto the hard drive like it would with a SONY brand hard-drive? Thx.

If it does install, how do I see where it's installed. Will I see it in the Memory Card Menu? How do I manage this install? Thx

First of all this is too old of a patch. It is refering to the ATAD.IRX patching. It patches some files on the game and makes it think your Seagate is a SONY official drive.BUT most new modchips have already atad patching and using it will make it not work.If you have a DMS,Infinity,O2,Crystal,and some clones of them the auto atad patching should be on and you don't need this patch at all.

Secondly what is does is enable the Install option on the game.IT copies the file to the HDD but you still need the cd to boot is.Just like an original Pc game.THere is no management so far.Just load and play.IN my opinion too much trouble just to get better loading times. If you want try using Hdloader and you can have the same functions without the need of a cd(but then you loose the online capabilty)Measure your needs and decide wheather or not to aply this patch.

no messiah does not have atad.If you want to install it and play online use ppfomatic to apply the patch and if you just want to play it offline load it to hdloader without patching
