PS2 hangs during Network Access Disc is running

Hello,

I have a problem during my network setup my PS2 hangs always on the same spot, when I run my Network access disc everything looks ok at start but when I reach regional settings it just keeps on hanging.

Bios flash perheps any Ideas?

I can go thru the menus by choosing the default settings but it wont connect in the end anyway.

This is my 2:nd network adapter so that cannot be the issue, any ideas??

I think i have the same problem i can choose in the beginning the country where i live in but when i must select which provider i have it hangs when i want to choose
my playstation 2 is with a Matrix Infinity mod chip firware 1.39

disable the modchip when doing that, same thing happened to me

Thanx now it works great

But when i now want te reset my console it go's to the standby mode does annyone knows how this comes?

just tap the button again right after you hold it in, this is what i have to do to reset

Reset button behaves differently when an HDD installed.

Some PS2 versions have trouble booting certain DVD-ROMS like the NA startup disc and DEMO discs, for whatever reason. As for the NA disc, it's easy enough to create configurations from one of the multitude of online games, most of which have an online profile editor built in.
