Only games that don't perform DNAS checks will work, for instance Twisted Metal Black, Automodellista.
    @ ace1
What do you think if i burn hdloader and the DNAS.IMG file of one of my online games on a disc . Then i lauch hdloader from the disc and load the game, when it will perform the check, you said it will try to read the disc. Do you think that can work?

Highly unlikely. I doubt the PS2 would be able to read both HDD & a disc. Plus, again, it would stop after reading data from the disc looking for the rest of the info to get you online.

Okay but why does the game try to read the CD, i heard it's beacause of the 'RESET' command found in the IOPRP.IMG and DNAS.IMG. If we hex-edit the files and replace the RESET by 0000 will it still freeze at that moment?

The game doesnt try to read the disc, how could it? A cd reading itself?

Its DNA$, located on the server, reading the disc in your ps2, nothing else.

If it cant find a disc, then it cant verify the disc & therefore cant proceed.

guys this is a very old method, it only works on some DNAS270 and earlier ones, so it's kind of useless right now...

    I got a SCPH30006R machine that I ID changed to a NTSC U/C ID

Using a DNAS ID patched DVD, and play the game Monster Hunter online

I can play online with the disc but I cannot play online from HDloader (btw, I can play Monster Hunter the game offline with HDloader with no problem)

The weird thing is I don't get a black screen like most of the people said, but I got a DNAS error -880, aka "Hardware Incompatible" error

    Anyone know why?

Can you try to launch Monster Hunter off HD then replace hdloader disc by your MH disc then go online via HD? Will it display an error?

Im using HDL v0.7c and have patched dnas for one of my games. It gets to the DNAS check but then fails (it doesnt freeze or anything like that). I ran all those proggz that tell you if you DNAS ID is correct, etc. But the DNAS fails.

it says something about authorization failed.
