The xlink thing works but not very good. Well, there is hardly ANYONE online for the ps2. The is currently 38 ps2 users while there is 731 xbox users. It's easy to see xbox people like to pirate Anyway, being there is almost nobody on is kind of a waste of time if you ask me.

Or it tells me that X-box online costs money, while PS2 is free for online. And DNAS patching is able to allow a person to play on Sony's online service for free, so why play on X-link with 38 people when you could be playing with hundreds on Sony's for free. I think if Sony started charging us to play online, you might see a spike in PS2 X-link players.
    God made me do it

Agreed.... but xbox piracy is still higher than ps2's... everytime I seach for a game I find the Xbox version is more popular.

That's because in general if the same game is available on both consoles, the Xbox version looks and runs better.
If you have a hdd for your PS2 it's just as easy to pirate games. In saying that though where I come from its still more expensive to chip your PS2 than it is to mod your Xbox!
That's why I sofmod both of my consoles. Mod Chips arent needed anymore hehe.

Question: Can anyone tell me if it is possible to link the PAL version of GT4 with the US GT4 either over a LAN or using XLink Kai? My friend has the PAL version and I use the US version for High Defintion but we want to link up. We've given it a go but have failed to connect via XLink and have not yet tried it over a LAN.

I just thought I'd ask because if it's totally impossible then I'll stop trying to do it.
