I know it is a french team that realeased a"universal smap.irx" but they say it works only on games who has DNA71.IMG file it must be under 71 or it won't work.I don't know which game work but i know that someone here called Bunny-something manage to make KILLZONE work off HD.
Can someone tell me how one does to play pre-DNAS games off the HD? Wheter is THPS4, Tribes, Socom 1 or Twisted Metal Black the gamelist is always empty. When using the original Retail DVD and skipping HDloader, i can see the games and join them. So how does everyone do it? Im using Hdloader 0.7c
Here the tutorial for patching the games.
nice french-to-english babylon.. so hard to understand xD but worth the try, thanks.
Wow I need to brush up on my Net-French. Is there a downloads section, because the links in the word file are dead.
Link to the file(s) are dead...
Edit 2: It would make it a lot easier if a list of games that do work on the hd can be put up. That way we can see if it's worth it, instead of checking all of our online games to see if it works, because it only works with a certain DNAS___.img file, no?
Which files do you want? I don't think i'm not allowed to post her the smap.irx file.
You can go create an account on their site here:
Then go here to get the files (you must be logged in to be able to download any file):
Then try it and tell us if it works.
it works for games with dnas 270 and lower... so basically, it works for older games. the sad part is that this project has so much potential but nobody with enough skill will put forth the effort to actually make it happen for all other games (probably due to the fact that the ps2 scene is known for ripping off people's hard work).
so after all that, in the end. there is no solution to bypass dnas with a third party hdd.
i think my dvdr's are dying. and after burning all these games. the dvdr's life are expiering.
My lens is completly ****ed i boot only with mc exploit and a psone demo. I will never be able to plat Resident evil , burnout and Mgs subsistence online.
That's a shame for Sony ****ing material.
