Network Adapter setup and DNAS

I can't get my network adapter set up because the procedure (Sony Setup Disk) includes DNAS authentication and I have a mod chip. (error -401)

Is there a workaround??

well, some guys makes special button to turn off the chip, then it works

damn, now i got the same problem, after DNAS authentication the screen freezes...

What kind of chip do you have?

I bellieve its a Magic3...version 7 console. Can't be disabled, as far as I know.

Just get ahold of the old Network Setup Disc which has no DNAS on it.
