Cheers Dave, got ps2 and pc setup now. Got the dos prompt stuff up, loaded the java side, booted mediaplayer, conected to PC, appeared to work fine. Checked browser and none of the files I put in the media directory appear in mediaplayer. Changed directory using the java app, re-connected, same prob. First time I tried it I it triggered my firewall, saying the ps2 was trying to access using a trojan. Configured my firewall now but mediaplayer just hangs in browser. Will not read the files...
did you check out the link i posted? extra help
Yeah I checked both those links cheers. Ive not tried booting the pc side through cmd prompt, just created a runme.bat file and executed that to open up the PC side. Still wont see files no matter what I do.
Off to work soon so will try from dos prompt later on....
