Does Star Wars: Battlefront Detect Mods?

Hi,

Does anyone know if Star Wars Battlefront can detect cheating (mod chips) like SOCOM II is doing since the latest patch. I was going to rent the game on the way home but don't want to bother if I can't get on. I've got an older mod chip which doesn't have sleep mode.

Well, the game does use DNAS authentification if that's what you want to know.

what he wants to know is can it tell once passed dans if it can tell for modchips. i know when i use my hdd patched copy of socom 2 it bans me from the network. it does pass dnas though.

i heard it does, but know one has a disc id yet. If it does I heard you can just use retail swap magic disc boot ur ps2 in sleep mode then swap with the patched dnas version to get on.
