If you bought it from a friend who didnt want to be a beta tester he could get in trouble but if u bought it from ebay or something you could get in trouble cuz they can track all of us who have it.

what i've been trying to do is get the disc id for it so i can just use the backup to play online and leave the original prerserved...i tried 2 disc id programs and nothing pops up where it should..blank!!!! i made the copy no problem but when i try to get the disc id..i get stuck!!!all that pop^r nothing or two zeros...wtf??lol...to bad S3B is only 1 stage , but u can make it what ever u want..like suppression or demo or breach,etc..oh and they r selling it on ebay for like $100 but u gotta hurry..zipper is planning to sue ebay about it if they don't take the rest down...the first few times it was up, they(ebay) took them off..but now people say stuff like.." free killzone strategy guide with s3..so the first words are killzone , etc...PLEASE help me with this disc id!!

You cant use a backup of the beta to go online.
Yes, you can DNAS patch it, and it WILL get you thru the DNAS.
But as you might remember, after Zipper included the patch on SOCOM 2, they have a own "backup/cheat" check after DNA when u come into socom 2 lobby.
Same on SOCOM 3 BETA. If you have a backup with valid ID, you get thru DNAS just fine, but when u come into socom3 lobby you will get a error telling "YOU ARE USING A CHEAT DEVICE AND WILL BE BANNED FOR 30 MINUTES!"
So no luck using backup.
I read it wrong..."the Beta Test Materials may be serial numbered for tracking purposes and would be traceable to you" not thru the disc but thru other ways like UPS. So you cant say u didnt get it either cuz they had us sign for it.
That post is 100% fact! Believe me, It's the first thing I tried when I got the disc. I patched it with winiso and another proggy that i picked up on the net. I got through DNAS, but just like socom 2 it said I was cheating after I logged in. Kicked me right off.Quote:
