I want to download game saves and put them on my memory card but I do'nt have a dexdrive or nPort or any of those other game save transfer things. I can transfer files over to my memory card using ExecFTP. But when I try to download any gamesaves they are in a .npo or some other format. Is there anyway I can extract the gamesave files out of that and manually put them on my memory card using ExecFTP. If so how would I go about doing this. Thanks for you help.

Yea I also do the same thing. What you need is the PS2 Save Builder.

    http://www.ps2savetools.com/download...p=getit&lid=74

If I'm breaking any rules for doing this please tell me.

Once you have that, you can extract .max .sps or other types of files. Then you just transfer it over using ExecFTP. Hope that help, if that isn't clear enough please tell me.

The numbers and letters used for the ps2's gamesaves are the SLUS/SCES #'s of the gamesave. Some gamesaves only have these numbers so knowing your games' slus# can be helpful for this.

You can always use nport too. It's just a free elf file and you run it through ps2link. It uses NPO format files, which the aformentioned ps2savebuilder can easily convert to/from the other formats. As was said, you can use execftps but you have to create the folder on the MC with the proper name.
