ps1 raw saves conversion tool v1.1 ready ;) –
"Psx Raw Converter" is a tool capable of converting raw ps1 saves making them utilizable on your favorite emulator,it's also capable of doing the reverse operation,making your emulator's saves utilizable on your ps1.
"Psx Raw Converter" require :
-"LAUNCHELF" for the transfer of your raw saves.
-"PSXGE" to insert and extract your single game saves (.mcs).
check out the new version at ps2savetools dot com.

Woohoo, thanks for this great program!
now that i rechecked my last post about the ancient version of this tool, i see that it was you ozzyfan who requested the "mcs to raw" feature,and i am glad that it helped you

thanks for the report ozzyfan
but i see that you have made a mistake , actually the "psx raw converter" is a tool that convert .mcs not .mcr files.
.mcs=single game saves compatible with "psx game edit 1.60"
.mcr=memorycard file that contains 15 blocks of saves.
actually it worked for you because when you opened it using "psxmemtool" (i presume you have done it trough a drag&drop or using open and *.* as suported files) it was automatically recognized and automatically add to a new memcard, for "psxmemtool" is also supporting single game saves under the extension .ps1
just for caution, the step:
psx->epsxe the steps:
1-/copy your ps1 saves from your ps2 using ulanchelf to your "psx raw converter" folder on your pc.
2-/convert them one by one to .mcs using "psx raw converter" now you should have something like (SCES-00780kain.mcs).
3/-open "psx game edit 1.60" and drag and drop your newly converted .mcs files to "psx game edit 1.60".
4/-now you should be able to see their icons after that you just have to save the memorycard to .mc and rename it to .mcr for epsxe.
epsxe->psx the steps:
1/-open "psx game edit 1.60" and drag and drop your .mcr file to "psx game edit 1.60".
2/-select a save by clicking on its radio button and save as a single game save (.mcs the name choice is trivial).
3/-copy your your newly extracted .mcs files to your "psx raw converter" folder.
4/-convert them one by one to raw saves using "psx raw converter" now you should have something like (SCES-00780kain).
5/-copy them to your ps1 memcard using ulaunchelf+usb_thumbdrive (writing directly to ps1 memcard)
that should do it ,just make sure that you don't make mistakes when you type the raw save's name.
as for the FM3 file, i just did the test with both battle and normal saves (BASLUS-01011-FM3-00, BASLUS-01011-FM3-S0, emma version) and it went well, it doesn't matter if the save is 1 or 15 blocks large, the tool can handle it.
just make sure that you don't make mistakes when you type the raw save's name especially with upper case

My bad, when I said I coverted the .mcr files I meant .mcs files (typo), thanks for pointing that out. The FM3 save error was probably a mistake on my part somewhere
yes i suspected that also but i thought it would be better if i explained the steps to avoid upcoming complaints from other users, if other users exists
i converted my 5 memcards thks to this tool, here is a screenshot:

Nicely done and I'm quite jealous of your game collection

Just a quick thanks to Alkarl. I'd been looking for something like this for ages but had to give up, no ps1 memory manager app actually allowed you to convert a save into its original raw format.
Tried converting a few game saves yesterday from Gamefaq's and they all work great, so thanks alot for the app.
"If other users exist".
I don't know about anyone else, but if you can post some links to the OTHER tools that you mentioned here, then I'LL be putting this to use.
The other tools you mentioned are:
psx game edit 1.60
