Yeah I have a home network. However, when I plugged in a CAT5 cable from my PS2 Network adapter to my onboard LAN port, it couldn't connect. I don't need to be connected to the internet as well do I? Anyway, what do I do now then? I have the .elf file I want to transfer but what other progs do I need?
EDIT: Ok I just read what onion said. I've never heard of this umcdr. I'll look into this first.
I guess I never really answered you question. You can't just directly plug a cat5 cable from to ps2 into the computer, you need a crossover cable, a router, or a hub/switch. If/when you get the 2 connected, open up your ftp program of choice. The default ip of the ps2 is 192.168.0.10 oh and I forgot, you need execftp running on the ps2 (according to your post you have that).
My system:
v7 NTSC PS2 Duo2 SE
