Dunno if this will get much attention, but worth asking I guess Anyone know of a way to extract the raw files from a PS1 dexdrive save so I can up it to my PS2 mem card using execftp ? Something that would work the similar to the PS2 savebuilder app.

    You'll be wanting PSXGE

Although I'm not convinced using exectFTPs will work as it doesn't set file attributes and PS1 data has a PS1 flag set....

    [edit]
Now that I think about it I can't remember if PSXGE allows you to save as a raw file, if not you can just open up a save in a hex editor and strip out the header

Just tried it, but couldn't find an option to extract the save, just one to convert between various emu-compatible formats out there. Searched around for similar type apps, same problem though, they convert between formats rather than extract the files themselves.

The problem with doing that, even if you had the raw data, is the PS2 requires a special flag on the file in order to notice it as PS1.
