Gran Turismo 3 & 4 saves

Hi all,

I've got GT3, one of the first I got and been playing it off and on for a while now. My question is when I get into gran turismo 4 can I have the game saves on the same memory card without them getting screwed up? I've heard rumours that GT4 will take your gt3 game save and convert it, but drop a lot of your cars & upgrades done on cars? is there any truth in that or was the person who started that rumor just a smeghead?

you can import your saves from gt3 to gt4. gt4 will ask you if you want to do this.

I've found out what that guy told you was mostly bogus. Only A & B licences and 100000credits are imported, ia, ib licences and any cars are not transferred.
