one thing, i'd be really interested to know why you included NTSC2PAL on a PAL game, also if you want to change it to PAL2NTSC I suggest using a better (M) than that...

I imagine the way slow motion is implemented would virtually negate the Hyper speed code anyway, but it seems cleaner to deactivate hyper speed when activating slow motion. Reverse reasoning for deactivating slow motion when activating hyper speed.

How does that Hyperspeed code work anyway? I looked at your guide for it and based on that, it looks like you're inserting a bc0f instruction (41000000) in the branch delay slot of the VSync jal. It seems like that would render one branch or the other (or both) inoperable or cause strange behavior in the subroutine reached via the jal. In any event, it looks like a strange way to accomplish something.
