Has anyone tried to hack codes for NCAA Football 2005 or NCAA Football 06 on PS2?

There is a 100% reproable CPU playcalling bug that I'd like to fix in these games. (to make the CPU team call a particular play when you call a particular play or formation)

I am not trying to cheat the CPU. I am actually trying to prevent an exploit related to punting. When you select "punt out of bounds left or right" on 4th down, the CPU doesn't line up in punt coverage and have no punt returner, making it easy for you to punt the ball deep every time with no return. They just line up in a regular formation. I'd like to run a code perhaps or somehow edit the CPU playcalling on the game iso so that the CPU always lines up in a punt return when you line up in any punt formation like they do when you call regular punts.

This would really be a great fix for this game. Anyone tried anything like this with either of these games? Could anyone possibly help me read the in-game memory if I dump memory after these plays are called in game?

These games do load with IGmassdumper.elf and I was successfully able to dump to my USB with that. I have been having trouble dumping via Artemis, but the games do load via the Artemis elf file and client does connect on the PC side, but when I try to dump it fails.
