Installing Magic ICE on 30004.

Where to get 54 MHz on 30004 board ?

I did find cy2212zc-2 (Direct RambusT 82; Clock Generator). CLK_B is located pin 12.. I dont have oscilloscope here so i dont know frequency in that pin

(i have installed Magic on 30004r and it have different clock chip cy24141... it works fine with magic ice

)

OK... I think cy2212zc-2 have nothing to do with 54 MHz...

There is XTAL top marked R54.000 (picture attachment).

Can somebody measure what corner of that XTAL gives 54 MHz output....

i have scph-30004r pal and dont have 50mhz resonators (hard to get in my country)

what pin of CY24141 generate 54mhz and what schemes you use?(such how http://www.ps2newz.net/forums/attach...p?postid=58941 ?)

- Pin9 CLK_B.
- I use 68pF, 20kOhm, 268Ohm and BFR 90... connections same as your link only different values...

54 MHz Problem solved

Working like charm, 99% success on 91f3+ ! (CDr, DVDr, PSX, NTSC/PAL discs...)
