Id like to make a suggestion for new code if it is possible. Many of my freinds have the old V3 consoles which laser is not so good

These consoles play originals fine and plays dvd movies fine. But if you install a modchip like magic 3 or Magic ice or even DMS 3 it will not boot the game. Only very few games will boot. I have narrowed this down to the inconsistancy of the dvd silver disks which we get here. (MAchines with good lasers play these games)

Also you can hear the laser click in the begging then it picks up the disk goes back and forward than clicks again (1st take) then laser spins up again goes back and forward and insitializes correctly (2nd take) then it looks like it wants to boot then jumps to red screen.

Modchips that still work even on the 2nd take are messiah (original) titan , lisa , messiah 2 original.

If 1 of you guys know how to fix this in our homebrew code it would make the ICE one of the best

Also for those of u that think its browser boot it isnt. Magic ICE boot from browser fine if laser picks up disk on 1st take only on the 2nd take there is a problem.

The problem you are having can be helped by putting a 1 microfarad capcitor 50 volts is more than enough on point "9" or SCEX point. This will help talk the sudden voltage difference when you turn on the system.

I have listened to a machine without a chip and tried dvd movie silver from HK with the same prob only works on 2'nd try of laser
