Here is a reduced wiring code vers. for V1-V7/8 .
Only 2 wire on cddvd controller ( remember V3 consolle ? more simple now ... )

Code is 'AS IS ' ... don't ASK for SOURCE => not available !.

Read the TXT and note : Do not connect indicated N.C. pins .
Code is compatible with my old others so u can reflash chip and let all previous wiring on ... code will work too.

It was tested on PAL only ... don't know for others regions .

54MHz version added THX to Lacyg .

    Hi vdavide,

is this code an update from your NEWDVMAGIC3V14NO_WF1 and NEWDVMAGI3V14WF1 code and does it works better than the old code?

Do you use the same resonator : murata CSTLS50M0X53-B0 with the Magic ICE V9 code in a V9 PS2?

    regards,

    alex23

yes , code is an update of old v14... no need W_C_D_G_H to work. ext. components used are the same every time.

Whow....just tried new vdavide code in my V3 PAL!
    Nice results guys, super bootrate!!!
I have used 2 caps as described in txt included in the ndv.zip

    http://www.darkmoon.org/images/NewVdavideV3(1).jpg

ps2 DVDR backups : 20 games 100% first attempt boot
ps2 CDR backups: 10 games 100% first attempt boot
    ps2 DVD9: 1 game works fine

ps1 CDR backups: 2 games 100% first attempt boot
    DVD film: works fine

The great thing is that I haven't see strange problems like black screens, NoData or Ps2Disk screens. All games boots fine at first attempt. NICE SHOT Vdavide!!!!

Just tried "ProtectedMode" to run protected games like MaxPayne.
    Primal freeze during demo mode.
Using normal boot mode Primal works fine, no freezing problems.
I have used both caps between gnd-5V and Z-GND.
