I've just noticed now that my country got flooded with v10s that boot rate on old code on v10 is very low (60%)

am i doing something wrong? - should i route the b f g h i points elsewhere than the optic unit?
has anyone else but the members of the ice team managed to get the new v910 code working well? what is your secret?? please send me install pics!

First of all, my congratulations to ice team, their work must be eulogized.

I've to tell my experience with last code to help problem solving.
I used old code several time on v9, worked fine all times.
Yesterday i tried the new code on a v9 (MX flash), but didn't work very well, with or without capacitor on Z, without Z...always the same problem: on 50% powerup, black screen. When started regularly, disc loaded fine everytime, so i suppose there should be a "bios patching problem" durin powerup on last code.
Added F wire and flashed with old code, 100% powerup and disc boot.

bios patch is same as before ... im tested MX bioses too ... no problems ... again : im use short GND from BIOS

ive been trying out the new code on shit ps2s that i barely repaired or that have been lying around for a long time - no surprise i had problems.


modded several new v9s and v10s tonight with new code, same install as until now, except no F wire.

result: boot rate = 90%

So what was this all about? Did you find an error in your wiring? Because from 0% to 90% boot rate is a big difference.
