vdavide17 code doesn't use the J and K points. It doesn't use the W point either. See the original thread:
    http://www.psx-scene.com/forums/show...&highlight=ndv

Alcema2.3 code has added RGB fix or Macrovision off (don't remember which) that required two more wires. The same thing is now done in software by the FINAL ICE chips.

Thanks Emanuel For helping me and you too again, D@rio for the image, after week or two I will try and build the ICE chip.

-But anyone know is the Magic 3.1 re-programble with any updated firmware or homebrew/custom bios to works better?
-And a question for those who tried both the Magic 3.1 and ICE, which one was better on running buckups and which one have more specs. and things it can do, or by other mean which one is better ?

    And Thanks Again .

EDIT: I think my modchip isn`t Magic 3, maybe it is Magic 3.1 please anyone tell me if the picture below what version .

And I removed the question "how to program it ?" because I think it uses SX28 and can be programmed using any SX28 programmer like Fluffy2 .

    Hello:

-Yes, magic 3,1 is re-programble to works better
-Ice code or vdavide code is better than magic3 or 3,1 code: more boot rate, only 2 or 3 wire on dvd/cd controller...

In v3-v8 (PAL) I always use ice0,94 code. It works fine, and it has easy installation from magic3 chip. You only have to reprograme with this code.
    - W pin is messiah W or duo2 W (the same), but no magic W
    - G and H pin not connected
    - Swap A / Z wire.

Vdavide code works fine too, but sometimes in v7 boot rate..... Furthermore you must change reset pin...

With ice0.94 code you don“t have any problem.

    Hi,

Thanks Vlax for the hex file and the info !
But for the installition, only what I need is only remove the G&H from Magic3.1 installition and swap A&Z ?
And Is this the latest version of Magic-Ice ? And Can I use the ICE Final with this way ?

    And thanx again .

No you cannot use ice final with a magic 3.1, unless you ad the 74xx

Hi, Thanks for your answer, thats mean that I must build a new one

Please anyone answer this question :
When I was looking at the SubZero2 diagrams I saw :
    1- A yellow blank cyrcle .
    2- C .
    3- D .
    4- 3.3V .
    5- H .
Where do I connect the yellow blank cyrcle, C, D and 3.3V on the ICE Final or do I ignore them ?
And about the H, do I connet it as in the diagrams or as in the ICE Final RAR file (F1-9.jpg) ?
And in the SX48 schematics, where to connect the OSC2 pin ?

    And Thanks .
