hai i am having scph39004 (ntsc/j) model. i tryed the autoexploit mode but when i give long reset from standby. Ther screen is just splashing and going to blank screen. i tryed with v112a.hex. can some one explain me is it really necessory to connect the dvd controller wires. because i only connected RC (IO_BIOS_DATA), ra.0 (IO_BIOS_OE), rb.1 (IO_BIOS_CS) and rb.2 (IO_REST),
ra.2(IO_SCEx), and +5v and Gnd I don't have that 74hc73 chip on my board because it is old magic 3.x mod chip, i am using fluffy 2 prgrammer. the programmer is working well.

what i really need is i want boot my ps2 from memory card, i cann't able to find any dvd pickup for my ps2. it is possible to boot the ps2 with bios data, bios oe, bios cs and scex soldered wires.

    Hi sureshpv,

I dunno if this helps but I tried putting this version in a v7 and tried to work out the connections, anyway I think stuffed up the cd/dvd controller conections and discs didn't want to boot. However I could boot stuff off the memcard no problems just by holding the reset button down until blue eject led turned on.

By the way the connection can be found on the titiansx website I found out later ;P
