Problem with new sx28ac/dp - ubicom –
i have a 50004 Pal with gh-23 board and want to test the new code programming with fluffy2.
After installation my ps2 only can read originals, no copies.
The chip is always disabled.
Now i had programmed 8 pieces of sx28ac/dp with old and new codes, installed it again in my v9 and v7 ps2.
Everytime i have the same result -> only originals and no copies!
The installation is ok because first the v9 and v7 ps2 are running very well with the old codes v950m_f1 (newdvmagic3v14f1).
I only change the chips, but not the wires.
The new chips with new or old codes don't work and if i install the old chip again, my ps2 v9 and v7 are running.
What did i make wrong?
Can somebody help me with my problem.
I first used IC-Prog 1.05a, than 1.05c and now 1.05a again under win98se and win2k.
When i open the hexfile automatically the fuse settings are FUSE=7F1, FUSEX=F7F.
I tried it without copy protection too: FUSE=7F9, FUSEX=F7F
Maybe my fluffy2 is not programing correctly?
Maybe the new chips (sx28ac/dp - ubicom) are not the right?
Today i tested it with a new universal programmer called smartprog and have the same result again.
What can i do now?
Does somebody have any idea?
today i have tested the newdvmagic3v21f2.hex in my v3 ps2 with reprogrammed original magic 3.1 (fluffy2) -> is running perfect!
Than i reprogrammed sx28ac/dp - ubicom and installed it in v3 -> only originals and no copies!
I can't understand my problem because it's the same code and same programming like magic 3.1.
Please can somebody help me?
I have tested every code since january 2003 in many ps2 v3-v9 and never had this problem before!
yesterday i have changed the 33k resistor at the 50 mhz resonator with a 10k resistor.
Now my ps2 v9 and v3 is running with programmed new codes and without any problems.
Do i get another problem (v9 symdrome) with this constellation or it is ok to use it with 10k resistor.
U will not have prob. with 10K resistor , i think ...
