I installed said chip in v7 on tuesday and still cant get a backup up of the 2 towers to play in it- i get the red screen always. Origs play perfect.

I checked every wire wit meter for continuity and all is ok.
Da bios clip could be my problems- I click it over da bios chip and its tight- i can give it a good push and it stays. But then when i put the aluminium cover over da board i think (not certain) it loosens it.

Could some 1 please help cas this is drivin me mad

I use Recnowmax to create .gi and then burn back to datasafe media in a pioneer 104 (1.33 firm) at 2x

You have to use mini tester to test Clip connection after install Clip

    i had the same problem.

2 wires were loose on the board so i just resoldered them
i got rid of the BGA CLIP (the L-shaped board) and soldered those wires manually. and i did use the bios clip, works fine if u just make sure you press it tightly (really tight)

after that... all my backups worked.

    hope that helps.
