i found a programmer called pic prog that says it programs scenix and pic chips
heres the info
Assembled PIC ALL programmer to do PICs, Atmel AVR, Scenix & EEPROMS.On-board firmware. 40 pin IC supplied but best with user supplied 40 pin ZIF socket. Uses PC parallel port.
if i buy this will i need anything else to program the sx28ac
will i still need the 50mhz resonator? or is that just for fluffy2
thx

I bought the PICALL programmer and must say I'm not impressed...
I'm working with the author to simply get the thing to work on my PC under WinXP Pro - every time I read a known-good-chip I get different results, and it simply won't program a chip AT ALL.
Even if you get it to work, note - PICALL DOES NOT SUPPORT ISP OF SX28'S!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (this is a serious limitation)
Now, if I could find someone who put together a FLUFFY 2 kit I'd buy one right away - I don't have the time to assemble all the parts myself....
