I have made a frequency meter based on the Fluffy2 board. It keeps the original functions, but adds the possibility to measure frequencies up to 2.5 MHz. You can use this to see how well does the resonator perform and eventually adjust some values (load capacitors or parallel resistance). Also you can heat the Magic3 chip and resonator (with a hair dryer for example) and see if the oscillating frequency varies significantly.
If you have reached a stable oscillator configuration, you can then program the SX chip with the Magic3 code without removing the oscillator componets.
