Magic ICE questions

I'm pretty new to this whole homebrew modchip thing but it really looks sweet so i'm going to ask a few newb questions that will probably get me flamed but I'd like to know the answers so I'll ask anyway.

Ok I know you need a SX-28 chip and a chip programmer but where are some good places to buy these? (I did a web search but didnt turn up much) If it's possible to build your own programming device, anyone know where I could find some instructions? Also I've seen the wiring diagrams for the chip but what are the soldering points for soldering to the PS2 mainboard? Are they the same as the Messiah 2? Sorry to be such a newb but I just needed some info. Thanks!
