Coming on FEB .1ST. 2003

Advantages of the Magic 3 Plus are:
Only one version of chip needs to be stocked by dealers (one chip works on ALL consoles).
Reduced cost per unit.
Fully flexible internal design allows for further development and custom functionality.
This is a totally safe design and does NOT interfere with the correct operation of the PS2.
PS2/PSX mode selection is now simpler and more intuitive.
Pin markings now incorporated on the PCB for easier identification.
Multi-disc Game and DVD9 compatible.
The ability to Â¡Â§switch offÂ¡Â¨ the chip has been included to permit the PS2 to behave as though there is no modchip fitted.
Simpler and therefore better design.
Game loading sequence is unimportant - they will start by either pressing the RESET or EJECT buttons or by pushing the tray. Games load exactly as they do on an original unmodified console.

Enhancements on Magic 3 plus include:

Automatic region and version detection and configuration

One chip covers ALL consoles (Magic 3 upgrade version special design for 3900* new console)

Smoother internal operation

True NTSC/PAL switching is incorporated.

Ability to turn Â¡Â§offÂ¡Â¨ the modchip if desired. Just press "reset" for 4 SECONDS than it will switch off MOD function. And press " Power on/off '' switch on PS2 console , the Modchip function will start again.

The "DVD 9" format movie is fully compatible.

there is no real messiah 2 clones , only fake chips..

these are magic 3 chips in sheeps clothing with the name messiah 2 on it...

And all the "improvements" are all bullshit anyways

The M3+ chip design is just like the M3, but with a different code.

I have tested it and it works a lot better than the original M3, but still som problems with freezing in some games. (Gta vice DVDr... ) Swithing off the chip works well, this makes playing dvd movies much easier.

the magic 3+ is just magic 3 !!! I have installed one for a customer.. it freezzzz just like the magic 3 in some dvd games.. I had to install the auto shut off pic-chip alone with it ..

About the auto off chip, I haven't get it working with Pal v7.

I have used the magic3fix code with the fixed instructions from Gerd..

works just like any ol magic 3 to me .
