This seems to be constantly occuring the fan fuse seems to constantly go out for those who are modding with the magic 3.1? What exactly is it thats doing it? Bridging seems like a likely answer, but I didn't bridge any connections. And if it was briding, what you have to bridge to make the fan fuse go out? I'm sending back my magic chip for a new one, as I suspect mines defective....I also swapped ps2 and returning the broken ps2 some time this week. I couldn't totally get the tag off without having a lil bit say void....but the ps2 is busted, so I'll just argue I wanted to take a peak to see if I could fix it, but when i started seeing the void I stopped and figured I'd just use my warranty.When I finally fixed the fan fuse, and turned it on, another fuse must have blew because then I got the BSOD. So i just decided to get a new one and return the old one. But I want my next install to be flawless, I want to know exactly why the fan went out.
