Can the Magic Ice code be made to allow loading an elf from memory card(hdloader for example)? It would be a great feature to add to an already great code.

    Thanx

It *might* be possible, but you have to understand that Magic ICE only has the program space inside the SX28 to work with. That's not much, and most of it is already used by the existing features, so it's not feasible to just code up a memcard loader and stick it into the chip; anything major added to the chip would likely have to be a very careful BIOS hack.

room inside chip is no problem ;-) ... we have sx28 ICE code for V1-10 with all features and + MC loader too ... and still free room for new machine versions ...

The Miniduo2 and the Duo2 appear to have the same design as the SxV9kit schematics(sx chip with 74hc73). Those chip can be used on v1-v10(not just v9-10). Are they using an unreleased version of the Ice code(leaked)? Is there any chance we will ever see a release of this new code that allows booting from mem card?

    Thanx

See the glory and downside of ice is thus, It is amazingly good code (I have a chip ready for my new 37000) but it is so good people steal it and then try to profit. This has happened a lot of times but the developlment continues. Lacy I was wondering if there is room for a fast boot feature similar to DMS/Infinity so that I can use the HDD more effiecently on my 37000. I have all the tool and am more then willing to dev.
