, I have checked all the connactions with multimeter.
, No soldering contact errors on the chip's pcb.
, The F point was not connected/used and the B pin is goes to the sx's 14 pin.
, The 74hc73 is sitting on the main pcb, not on the externar panel.
, All the connections checked and twice rewired.
Everything is allright, but no boot
Tomorrow i will check the same chip on the 50004 machine.
One question: On the installation picture (original package V112a) the B point is connected to the sx's 14 pin? It is the true B or F?
pin 14 on SX is B, is the W wire correct?, I've had some random boot trouble withwout connecting this. (by mistake, of course).
Line W is connected to The sx's 10 pin.
Looks that is all Ok, if you check on a 50004 the same board and works could be a new BIOS version, so Lacyg, be aware!!.
I've made lots of 70012 and 70001 but only a few 70004 and I didn't found some gross problems in any of these.
By the way, does read originals Ok without chip?.
no new version of BIOS exist ... if code no boot PSX1 games (in psx1 mode)or or your can play DVD movie in psx2 mode then your chip no running ...

The Chip works in a SCPH 50004 ps2.
the important is the potenzial difference in direct biased that must be around 0.7volt!

Now, I have fitted the problematic chip (series i have built 4 pieces) into the 50004 machine (GH-026) and worked great, 100% bootrate without any problems. What is the problem in the V12 machine, looks like not patching the bios?
The V12 console is PAL.
