Just noticed you guys are up to editing the magic 3 code. I think I might undersdtand what it is you guys are talking about, but I was just wondering if this is what it is (I thought of this last night, then checked your posts this morning, seems pretty much the same). Since people are having probs with games freezing in the middle of gameplay (eg. th eKingdom hearts thing, I think this apllies to the beta code too, correct?), could you rig up the magic 3 to turn itself off after the booting procedure finishes? That way, it shouldnt interphere with the system anymore afterwards, and shouldnt make it unstable. Again, I think thats what you guys might be talking about, but Im not all that familiar with these chips, so I dont know for sure. If you guys havnt thought of this, what do you think? Just a thought.

Yes, you got it right. When they/we talk about sleep it is the same as turning the chip off, not exactly but almost.

Cool. I guess then that the wake on eject is to help with multi disk support, etc., right? Keep up the good work! I wish I could help, but I dont have the knowledge to do anything, sorry. Thanks guys!
