my first Konsole with the new ICE Code has a problem with the Reset/Power off/ Bootsecence ???
The problem is that when the PS2 in Standby (red LED on) the ICE Chip not really turn off.
When I after the first turn on a PS1 Game load then can`t load a PS2 Game after I turn the Konsole in Standby.
I must drag the Power plug an then the Autoboot procedure are going.
The same when I first load a PS2 Game and then after Standby I load a PS1 Game?
Only whit drag the power Plug I can change the Media PS1 / PS2
Have someone the same problem???
@ demir2 : wich PS2 version ?
Try add 1K resistor in parallel to the SX power supply
When change the PS1 to Ps2 game, reset put the ps2 game into cd-case and shut the the cd-case and load.
equal with change from ps2 to ps1 game.
Dev1 Mode from Standby, 4 sec power/on button next Time as reset and load from Mem-Card.
you guys need to use the 5.1V point on v9-v11
it is same as the romeo mod, only closer to the middle of the mobo.
that point goes to 0V in standby
@vdavide: It`s a 70004
I have the same problem when I insert a PS2 Games, start normally and then go to Standby. After a new start its comes the red screen.
If i make only a short reset then is the next bootsecence normally an o.k.?!?
Yes, I have the same problem...
sametimes after ps2 turn on , have black screen.
old Ice more stable
Problem is not the code itself but a current flow from/to F point that keep the chip running ....try with the resistor as i wrote or try the -R code with transistor ( in this case remember to remove F from motherboard).
Also try as summOne wrote ( change 5V point )
It is possible to use a diode in the Point F in this way ? CHIP---->|------POINT F
stupid question, do you mean just a 1k resistor between the 5volt point on the board and the chip or a resistor between the chips 5volt and ground? thanks.
