I still have some messiah1 chips left. And as I recall, messiah 1 was designed so it could be upgrade with an eeprom. Does anyone have some more information about that? I really want to try it, just for the fact that is possible. And who knows, maybe its even possible to upgrade an old messiah1 chip so it's compatible with the v9(50001)

They might have disabled the flash ability on the Actel Pro chip which is an Actel ProAsic not an Actel ProAsic Plus which the dms3 uses and another chip. I dont think its possible.

That would be nice. I have a Messah 1 sitting around. I am sure that they Messiah 1 gerber design and Actel used are much more reliable than the M2.
