Component Cable Problem

Recently I found a weird problem with my V9 system.

I chipped it using the latest ICE v110a, which works like a dream.

I then purchased a "component" output cable.

Great, everything plays in much better picture quality.

Then, I tried playing a DVD movie!

Bang!, No VIDEO but perfect SOUND.

Tried the S-VIDEO jack on the cable, have VIDEO & SOUND.

But nothing from "component" output when playing a movie.

Removed modchip, DVD playback returns to full working video,
with the "component" cable.

How is still possible if the modchip is disabled during DVD playback?

Any tricks to fix this problem, I tried holding down the RESET longer,
double-quickly pressing RESET, and everything from EJECT on with
no disc. Nothing always the same thing NO VIDEO during a movie
playback, but great SOUND and always VIDEO & SOUND during a
PS2 playback.

Any help in this matter would be most welcome.

Oh! Forgot to add in my original message that this is a V9 NTSC
machine, and tried both the v110a and v112 ICE codes.

DvD-Movie works perfektly in PS1-Mode with ICE-Rev.

Well if it worked "perfectly", I would NOT be posting a message on the
forums here, asking for help.

I know it is NOT working for a fact in this model of PS2, an V9 NTSC
with the ICE-REV code of v110a or v112a.

System works fine in PS1 mode, as long as you use the SVIDEO or
NORMAL cable, but with the "component" cable, only SOUND no
PICTURE but works fine in PS2 mode.

Very weird.

Same on PAL V12 GH-032-11 with component cable No Video but sound.

Very strange indeed as the chip is disabled but when i remove the power and gnd it works as normal
