Comercial use of ICE code ??

Old thread, but on the same topic, what about installers that will install an ICE chip with code, but only charge for the install and a parts charge for the chip? I would think that as long as these installers refuse to sell the chip without installation this isn't so bad.

However, that being said, I don't bother with ICE because I can get the cheap knockoff chips for next to nothing for the cheap customers. Are the loaded with ICE? Beats me, although most of them don't appear to be.
