can i sell chips with Magic ICE code on my site.?

i just got a lil fluffy 2, and i was wondering if I was allowed to sell install packages on my site that included chips with magic ICE code on them. I would give full credit to ps2newz for the code.

i didnt want to do this without making sure it was ok first.

the retail 3.1 code was released, wasn't it?....you'd get more people who just want 3.1's. than people who want the ICE code, everyone thinks that because it's the retail version it's the best

I would suggest giving credits to RCE insted of PS2Newz. Just my opinion.

I don't think it's allowed. I think it would be better if you just sold parts to allow users to make their own modchip. I do know of someone that is making an improved blank modchip solution with some very nice features. You can drop me a pm if any of you are interested.

its an open source type project, whats the problem ?? I wouldnt do it myself - cos of reasons some of you know, but its available and out there, and there are plenty of clone makers doing the same thing but with no reference to the brilliant efforts of RCE (etc.) or the excellent resource that is the ps2newz site. i can however appreciate that the spirit of the work you are doing is not meant for making money, but there are loads of unscrupulous manufacturers out there so should you be precluded from selling it just because you are prepared to give credit ??
