Wont boot to mem card

Well i finally got to the part where everything else suppose to be easy but it aint basically i got to the part where my hd loader went on my mem card and it said complete and i did like the guide said and cut off my ps2... put the ps1 game in that was in the title.db and cut it back on ..... well it wont boot to my mem card at all....... do i need the hard drive and ethernet card at this point.... with or without it on there it will just go str8 to the ps1 game...... some quick questions i want to ask that i want to know if make this easier


First i have a usb flash plugin is there anyways i can put the files on there and hook it to ps2 and then put it on the mem card???

Second , if i have the hd advance software on my computer can i just run it thru there and add the games on thru my pc ?????

Firstly i am also extremely new to the whole scene so heres what i know so far.
You cannot run HDAdvance on a pc and therefore cannot transfer games to the hdd.

Maybe you can help me.
I have an un-modded ps2 and a modded one (dunno what chip it is), I have installed hdd advance on the modded one but wont recognise the disk on the unmodded on.Therefore i want to be able to boot from the mmeory card on both machine.
I intend to create the "modded memory card" on the chipped ps2 and use it on the unchipped ps2.

What is needed on the memory card for it to boot and where do i get it???

Works now!!!
But it doesnt help as i dont have a DMS3 chip.Its un-modded.Is there anyway to get an unmodded ps2 to boot from a cdr copy of hdadvance???
Apparently they cant read cdr-dvdr disks.

You need swap magic, gameshark 2 etc to do the swap trick.

search my past post for the answer.... i had same problem ... seems hd loader dont boot off memory card good... get the ps2menu elf , and follow my past post to create the file. put on cd with hdloader. and it will all work. trust me!
