usb pen drive as a memory card

i read up on people using a usb pen drive on there ps2. can i just put a usb pen drive in the usb slot and will it show up as a memory card in the area were the memory cards are?

i think i need a exploit

You can not use it to save games on if that is what you are trying to do. However you can transfer save files from your memory card to a USB pen drive for backup.

This is also how i put new exploits on my memory card, i dont use execftps and the other stuff.

You can use AR Max Evo, or MaxDrive, or just transfer shit using LaunchELF or KeyLauncher with the exploit...
But no...you can't use anything other than memory cards as memory cards...so stop asking...

There is a modchip that suposedly emulates a MC with the HDD.. allowing for a 1GB or more MC...
